Our country villa was built in the late 19th century as a gift from an English chocolate manufacturer to his daughter, who longed for a place of peace and beauty. Inspired by the ideas of the British designer Sir William Morris, the building is still characterized by a clear, handcrafted design language.
Wall panels, wallpaper motifs and decorative elements pick up on the style of the Arts and Crafts movement and make the villa a place where design and history go hand in hand. As you walk through the rooms, you enter a house with character. With hand-picked pieces of furniture, curved lines and artistic details that almost make you forget that you are staying in a hotel.
